Feb. 1. By TL Bernthal. Yes, The Cheesecake Factory, with 250 menu items and more than 30 cheesecakes and desserts,  is coming to Birkdale Village.

The official announcement will be part of a larger restaurant announcement in the coming weeks, according to Britni Johnson,  director of public relations for North American Properties, the owner of Birkdale Village.

Birkdale Village has 17 tenant openings on tap for this year, says Johnson; some are noted in the list below.

The remaining leases not included are being negotiated, Johnson says. Watch for more to come soon.

—Airlie Baby – local owners, Robin Galloway and Samantha Stevens (mother-daughter; one-year license agreement)

—Apricot Lane – local franchisees, Georgina and Leah Susswell (mother-daughter)

—Barnes & Noble – multi-year lease extension

—bartaco – Opening 2023

—Brixx Pizza – relocation and $1 million renovation/expansion; opening in new location in 2023

—Brown Bag Seafood Co.

—Dick’s – multi-year lease extension

—Drybar – local franchisees, Jackie and Matt Paynter (husband-wife); opening 2023

—eeZ Fusion & Sushi – $1M renovation; project complete

—Foxcroft Wine Co. – local owner, Conrad Hunter; opening 2023

—Girl Supply – local owners, Sarah Baucom and Carrie Barker (three-year license agreement)
