Uwharrie reports higher net income for 2014

Feb. 18 Uwharrie Capital Corp net income for the year ended Dec. 31, 2014, rose 76 percent to $1.68 million vs. $954,000 for the same period in 2013.  For the full year, net income available to common shareholders was $1.09 million compared to $151,000. Total assets at year end reached $518.5 million.
