You’ll just have to wait a little more: The brewery at Birkdale

Feb. 3.  By TL Bernthal. The yet-to-be-announced brewery in Birkdale Village probably won’t be able to open until closer to the end of this year,  said  Tim Perry, managing partner of North American Properties in Atlanta, the owner of the mixed-use project.

It will go in a two-story, open air space along the green by the big screen in Birkdale Village.

Which brewery is coming to Birkdale Village is  still a mystery to the public .

NAP is working through the permitting process on that site, Perry said.

What’s on tap

There won’t be a lack of drinking possibilities—even with Corkscrew Wine Shop and Bar closed—with restaurants like Brixx Pizza, Dressler’s, eezFusion  Red Rocks Cafe offering beer wine and more with dinner or at the bar.

Kilted Buffalo Birkdale is in the midst of a facelift, with reopening planned in March

Foxcroft Wine Co. and bartaco coming later this year.

  1. Having lived through and followed NAPs mismanagement of the Birkdale redevelopment to date, it’s a good bet that the identity of the future brewery is still a mystery for NAP as well.
