Women’s Conference April 2 in Cornelius

The 8th Annual Lake Norman Chamber Diversity Council Women’s Conference, entitled “Renew Your Mind, Body & Spirit,” will be held Thursday, April 2 at The Peninsula Club.

The keynote speakers at the event are Rev. Antonio and Dr. Pam Smith, co-founders of Smith Bios Group.

Their mission is to motivate individuals to embrace healthier lifestyles through education and awareness of diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney disease.

The couple will share their unique story of how they went from tragedy to triumph while dealing with life-altering diseases.

The event runs from 9 am to 3 pm.

Having endured some of life’s greatest challenges, Antonio and Pam believe their story needs to be told to compel people to take charge of their health.

In addition to the keynote speakers, the Diversity Council has selected two local women to share their stories of success: Mrs. Lisa Kelley-Founder/Director Carolina Counseling & Consulting and Susan Garrity Bish,author of “Clear, Concise and Compelling.”

The cost is $75 per person, seating is limited and will be first come basis.  The price, $75, includes the program, hosted bar, plated lunch, fellowship and a swag bag.
