Sept. 16. As small businesses continue to recover post-pandemic, financial support is available from Meck Lending, a loan program offering favorable business loans and free assistance.

Key features:

—Modifications to loan requirements now position more individuals to be eligible

—Up to $75,000 available

—Interest only payments for the first 12 months

—Interest rate at Prime (5.5%)

Details

Businesses that apply must be located in Mecklenburg County and have annual revenue under $2 million. Other eligibility requirements include: no bankruptcy filing for the business and/or owner within the past five years, no open tax liens, and no unpaid judgments over $1,000 (medical related exempt). Applicants must also be current with County tax obligations.
