Nov. 15. PetScreening, which offers the rental housing industry’s leading pet policy management software at no charge to property owners and managers, has been selected by the NC TECH Association as the 2023 Software Solutions Company of the Year.

PetScreening was founded by NC Rep. John Bradford, a Cornelius resident. His Mooresville-based company has also been ranked No. 123 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list of fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech and energy tech companies in North America.

Background

The NC TECH Awards are North Carolina’s only statewide technology awards program, recognizing companies and individuals who have demonstrated growth, innovation and leadership.

Bradford, who is also CEO of PetScreening andd a former member of the Town Board, said the PetScreening team has worked tirelessly to develop cutting-edge software solutions that make a real difference in the property management industry.

PetScreening lets rental applicants enter information about their pets, and the platform weighs various pet-related factors, including a community’s specific restrictions regarding breed, weight and age.

The digital screening platform standardizes risk assessment for household pets by providing a digital Pet Profile and a “FIDO Score” for each pet screened.
