LKN Chamber recognizes 2024 ‘Educators of the Year’

Feb. 23. The Lake Norman Chamber recognized three local educators at the 2024 Education PowerLuncheon held at Northstone Country Club.

Chamber Chair Jeff Tarte presented the Educators of the Year to:

Mrs. Kimberly Courtland, of Merancas Middle College High School; Mrs. Jacqueline Clark, Langtree Charter Academy; and Mrs. Karen Powell, Grace Covenant Academy.

—The keynote speaker was Chris Marsicano, an Assistant Professor of Educational Studies and Public Policy and Founding Director of the College Crisis Initiative (C2i) at Davidson College.
