Dec. 14. The 17th Annual Greater Charlotte Home and Landscape Show, which was to be held at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord next month, has been changed to May 7-9, 2021. The date change is due to the recent COVID-19 spike, more limitations on large public gatherings and anticipated COVID-19 restrictions that will still be in place in January, according to show organizers.

The show, produced by Marketplace Events, includes a wide variety of local home-related exhibitors including home renovation and garden and landscape displays.

Marketplace Events recently surveyed home show attendees during the pandemic and found that more than 53 percent of consumers are planning to do a room renovation, with 45 percent planning on spending more than $5,000.

The original dates were Jan. 29-31.

“By changing the dates to May, we are more confident in producing a safe and successful show for all involved,” said Brent Keller, vice president at Marketplace Events. “We are diligently working on all necessary adjustments and look forward to reconnecting our small local businesses and attendees.”

The Greater Charlotte Home & Landscape Show typically features more than 150 exhibitors. Companies interested in being part of the show should contact Show Manager Bruce Evans at [email protected].

The show will be held Friday, May 7 through Sunday, May 9. More info: CharlotteHomeAndLandscapeShow.com
