Sept. 21. Cabarrus Jobs Now is hosting a luncheon Friday Oct. 16 with NC Rep. Linda Johnson and NC Sen. Fletcher Hartsell. They will discuss the North Carolina budget, including issues surrounding the Sales Tax Redistribution effort, which could cost Cabarrus County $2 million to $8 million. Attendees will have an opportunity to voice their concerns regarding these and other issues. Cost for admission is $20 and seats are limited.
