Nov. 21. Sydney Miller of The Nomadic Jeweler of Cornelius was one of two runners up presented with a check for $2,500 in SCORE Charlotte’s live Pitch for Growth competition held at the Mint Museum in Charlotte.

Magloire Lubika of Surefire Neighborhood Market in Rock Rock Hill landed the top award of $5,000. Rachael Price of The Learning Habitat of Indian Trail was co-runner-up with Miller.

In 2022, over 1,500 men and women were served by SCORE Charlotte in over 2,700 mentoring sessions. SCORE Charlotte also sponsored 77 local in-person workshops attended by over 1,400 people.
