Ingersoll Rand raises $1.27M for United Way of Central Carolinas

Nov. 18 Ingersoll Rand raised $1.27 million for United Way of the Carolinas, shattering the company goal of $1 million, and compelling United Way to induct them into the Million Dollar Club. Ingersoll Rand is the first company outside Charlotte to surpass the million dollar mark for United Way of Central Carolinas,  joining Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Duke Energy and Carolinas HealthCare System. Recently, United Way’s Executive Director Jane McIntyre joined nearly 250 Ingersoll Rand employees at a victory celebration at Davidson campus.

She noted that during the company’s intitial campaign in 2009 it raised $300,000 for United Way. “So, to quadruple that amount in just five years speaks volumes about Ingersoll Rand’s corporate culture and commitment to the community,” McIntyre says. More information: uwcentralcarolinas.org.
