July. 14. The Harrisburg Town Council and Economic Development Committee is hosting a small business networking event on August 6 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Harrisburg Town Hall.

The “Small Business Briefing” is the first in a series of meetings and events focused on building dialogue with, and support for, small business owners in Harrisburg. The agenda will include an introduction from Mayor Sciascia; discussion of the town’s recent market analysis, economic development work plan and small area plans; and permitting and licensing updates.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Small Business Advisor Maggi Braun will provide detail regarding small business counseling services coming to Harrisburg Town Hall this fall. The free service will offer one-on-one confidential counseling from an expert in marketing, retail, business start-up, business growth and more and will be available by appointment each month.
