May 21. A five-acre estate with a 13,000 square foot mansion and guest house is on the market for $24 million. Alec Cantley of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty in Asheville has the listing.

Known as Deerhaven Gardens, the main house has 200 feet of accordion and nano doors framing mountain views, as well as six bedrooms and a bunk room; six full baths and seven half baths; a full gym, steam room, sauna, and spa; two gourmet kitchens, a wine cellar, and full hibachi grill; and a 50-foot infinity pool and hot tub. In addition to award-winning gardens, trails and waterfalls, the five-acre gated estate has a tennis facility.

If you’re thinking of conventional financing, i.e. a 20 percent downpayment of $4.8 million, and a loan amount of $19.2 million, your monthly payment on a 7 percent, 30-year mortgage would be $127,738.08.
