Cornelius resident Todd Armstrong, a former president of the Lake Norman Tennis Association, has opened Fitness Machine Technicians. The franchise specializes in the maintenance and repair of exercise equipment for gyms. The franchisor said Charlotte is one of the fastest growing markets in the country. The Malvern, Pa.-based franchisor recently signed on with Pinnacle Franchise Development to come up with a plan for growing the brand across the nation.
