Nov. 7 The Lake Norman Chamber, in collaboration with the Northwest Division of the Charlotte Chamber, is hosting a reception Nov. 11. Through the event, which will be held at Harvey’s in Cornelius (19707 Liverpool Pkwy.) from 7 to 8:30 p.m., the chambers hope to attract young, civic minded people to start The Lake Norman Young Professionals. Attendees should be between the ages of 21-39. They should be good standing members — or an employee of a member — of the Lake Norman or the Northwest Division Chamber chapters.
