Bosch to expand in Lincolnton

June 1. Bosch will invest $130 million to expand its power tools accessory manufacturing plant in Lincolnton, adding 400 new jobs.

The German company plans to build a 325,000-square-foot building for manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations.

A leading global supplier of technology and services, the company is committed “to develop local manufacturing here in the region,” said Mike Mansuetti, president of Bosch in North America.


The new jobs will pay an average annual salary of $53,204; Lincoln County’s average wage is $49,332.

EcoDevo incentives

The state will provide $2.7 million in taxpayer incentives to the company over 12 years. Annual payroll will be in excess of $21 million.
