Denis Bilodeau, a first-term member of the Cornelius Town Board, is opening a Cornelius sales office for Hood Hargett & Associates, one of the largest independently owned insurance agencies in Charlotte.

“It’s just me for now,” said Bilodeau, the retired president of Aquesta Insurance. Hood Hargett’s Charlotte staff will provide support.

A former Rotary Club president, Bilodeau was a fixture in the Lake Norman business scene, having run the old OTC-The Lake Insurance Agency before selling to Aquesta Financial.
