Oct. 13. Carolina Farm Credit announced participants, including two area businesses, for the Ag Biz Planner and Ag Biz Basics courses.

Participant will work with a Carolina Farm Credit Lender mentor.

The Ag Biz Planner and Ag Biz Basics courses offer financial and business planning studies include budgeting, completing financial statements, business management and other topics essential to a farm’s success.

Area Ag Biz Planner participants:

Vishal & Neetu Patil of Concord, are being mentored by Danelle Cutting, lender in the Salisbury branch. They are beginning farmers looking to expand their knowledge of seasonal vegetables and more.

Michael & Amy Foschetti from Charlotte, will be mentored by Miranda Tallent, a lender from Carolina Farm Credit’s Lincolnton branch. The Foschettis are beginning farmers looking to produce timber and raise bees.
