New Chief People Officer at Advocate/Atrium

Jan. 30. Nakesha Lopez has been appointed executive vice president and Chief People & Culture Officer for Advocate Health.

She will be responsible for the strategic management and delivery of all people programs, policies, processes and practices for Advocate Health.

She will align the HR function with the organization’s strategy, drive teammate engagement and craft the employee value proposition. Lopez will report directly to CEO Eugene A. Woods.

Advocate Aurora Health and Atrium Health have joined, bringing together with more than 21,000 doctors and 42,000 nurses.

Headquartered in Charlotte, the healthcare non-profit has a footprint across six states – Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wisconsin.

Atrium is building a hospital in Cornelius.
