Village at Oakhurst/Phase 2 will go up on Hwy. 21 north of Bailey

Phase 2 of Village at Oakhurst

Sept. 26. Construction on The Village at Oakhurst/Phase 2 near Hwy. 21 and Bailey Road will begin in October, according to developer Joe Douglas.

The 29,300 square foot building will have retail tenants on the first floor and medical offices on the second floor.

New Jersey-based GOAT Pizza has already signed a lease. Other tenants include Prosper Dental Studio and Captiva Restaurant Group, owner of 131 MAIN. GOAT, a new concept from celebrity chef David Burke, will have an emphasis on fresh pizzas as well as North Carolina celebrities and sports figures.

The new freestanding building will be just north of Waterman, a successful seafood restaurant operated by Paul Manley.

The new building is being constructed by Southside Contractors; Colliers International is handling leasing.
