Nature’s Value moving HQ, manufacturing to Winston-Salem

Aug. 11. Nature’s Value Inc., a contract vitamin and dietary supplements manufacturer, will move its headquarters to the Winson-Salem area and build a manufacturing plant. The total investment is nearly $20 million.

Fifty-two jobs will be moved to the new location from an existing plant in Lexington.

The company, which was based in Coram, NY, has been manufacturing, packaging and distributing vitamin and dietary supplement products for private labels since 1992.

The company plans to create 183 jobs in Forsyth County, paying an average minimum salary of nearly $58,000. Nature’s Value will also consolidate operations to one 426,000 square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing, testing and laboratory production center in Whitaker Park.

The NC Economic Investment Committee approved $2 million in tax incentives.
